We start this blog in the hope that more and more of those who are involved in battling substance abuse will want to share their experiences with us. What this blog seeks is the widest possible cooperation of all stakeholders concerned in the matter. The effort here is to track stories on all topics related to substance abuse, leading with the ideal remedies available for different addictions. Also covered is the ongoing research in the field, which is vast though still not adequately mapped. This is particularly true of India, other countries in South Asia and much of Africa, where lack of statistics and a foolproof drug enforcement system, along with other limiting factors, have allowed the epidemic to grow apace.
